Life sure has been beyond busy for me lately.
I think I was home twice yesterday for a total of 43 seconds to get out of one car and into another to go to somewhere else. I finally got home around 9:45pm from Tyler's lacrosse game.
One of these days I'll master the art of closing my eyes, clicking my heals together and I'm there.

The Big News. I got my first beehive on Sat. A friend I've been helping with her hives called and asked if I wanted the other half of a hive we had split a few weeks ago. They were kinda persnickety after we split them and had stung a few dogs and people and she wanted to move the hive.
Steve and I went up on Sat night and moved the hive. They are so cute!!

The top box my hive. The bottom boxes are my friends that I will return to her in a few weeks when I can transfer all the frames into my boxes.
One of my other hives is coming on Friday and I'll get it set up this weekend. I'll take some more pics.
I really should get a bee blog going in case anyone wants to learn from my numerous mistakes.

I made the lentils on Corina's new lentil press and I love the press. I'm not sure if she is selling the press on her website yet. I got one of the prototypes at a class she recently taught at. The lentil shape is really nice- It lays nicely on your skin.

Hey there,
I FINALLY have some beads made.
It took a lot longer than we thought to get the new studio up and running. Originally, I thought a week or so to get the new studio set up, but that turned into 3 or 4 weeks to get everything set up and moved in.
I found some time yesterday to torch and my beads are in the kiln ready to be cleaned, photographed and listed.
Thanks to all who have been patient and keep voting and checking back for beads- I really appreciate the support.
The new studio is AWESOME. I love having all my stuff in one place.
I'm gonna keep this post short and sweet and get going so I can hopefully post some beads later today or tomorrow.

Hey there, we had a GREAT time at the ELLEN show. I don't know if I've ever laughed so hard in my life. The show aired last Friday. If you have TIVO, I don't, my sister is the blond one in the Gold Class Cinemas chair. We weren't allowed to take pictures at all at the Ellen show. One lady tried and I thought they were going to kick her out. They were very clear on the point!!
After the show we headed for Hollywood. They were getting ready for the academy awards. We accidentally turned down a street trying to find parking and landed on the set of a NCIS filming. One of the head guys kept frowning at us because we couldn't stop laughing and it was suppose to be "quiet on the set".
We walked around the Kodak Theatre as they were putting down the red carpet.
I torched in the new studio yesterday. It's soo nice. We have to work on the fan. It's a bit strong and sucks my flame a bit.
I have to run Meg to school and I'm off to visit my Dad this morn.
Sunday, Feb 28
It's already the end of February. I'm in the process of moving into my new studio. It may take a few days to get all my stuff in there.
On of my pets had an abcessed tooth on Friday. I took her to the vet and they have to remove the
tooth tomorrow(they didn't have time on Friday) to the tune of about $500. That includes them doing a dental cleaning at the
same time since they have to put her out already.
Can you believe it? $500.00? I should have been
a vet like my Dad.
It's been raining like crazy off and on for what feels like years now.
We finally have some sun today and boy, is it uplifing!!
It's suppose to start raining here again on Tuesday.
We're leaving Wednesday to head down to the Ellen Show. I probably won't have time to
update again before I leave. I can wait to let you all know how it was when I get back.

The studio is going well. Steve is out there as I type installing the fan. I forgot how much work it was to set
up my first studio in the house it was so long ago. There are a lot of toxic fumes that are released when you melt
glass and it's important to have a really good ventilation system.
Tomorrow I'm going to meet Corina Tettinger. She was teaching a class in Gilroy for the past
three days and tomorrow Grace, the gal who owns the studio Corina is teaching at, is having a demo/get together with local
people. I would have loved to have taken the class but the combo of time and $$ were not working in my favor.
The week after next I will be gone for 1/2 the week to go to see
THE ELLEN SHOW
I'm so excited!!!! I loveEllen Degeneres.
I'm going with my sister, my neice and my sister's friend. We're doing a road trip down to LA

We've been busy workin on the new studio. I'm so excited.
